This project involved the design, manufacturing and testing of a mobile drone takeoff and landing platform. The platform is designed to be carried long distances by service dogs, to compensate for small drones' limited working distance. This can be especially useful in search and rescue operations. The platform has the ability to lock or unlock a drone into it, without requiring high accuracy from the drone or stability of the dog. This project was awarded "best student project" for 2020, due to its complex and in depth analyses and highly successful execution.
